Accelerated Systems Inc. (ASI) has more than twenty years of experience developing advanced drive systems for electric vehicles.
ASI creates intelligent (software supported) drive train solutions for battery electric and hybrid vehicles. Our unique focus on non-automotive vehicle applications is helping our customers capitalize on the same opportunities the car companies are realizing for fuel efficiency and environmental benefits.
Our products and services help vehicle manufacturers innovate improvements to vehicle features, drivability, and performance quickly. We also help our clients transition those new features to volume production without risk. Our products are underpinned by our proprietary technology for power dense motors and motor controllers, packaged into compact and modular hub, traction, or accessory drive modules. These modules are coordinated, along with battery management and engine control features, through a distributed network control system which is specifically optimized to achieve the best possible vehicle performance and operating range. This modular approach means that our customers realize the performance advantages of a highly optimized and custom solution on a mass produced cost structure, so that our solutions are being deployed in volume consumer applications such as electric bicycles and residential riding lawn mowers.
